Centrally located between Brussels and Antwerp, with its beautiful river “the Rupel”, the historical brick factories and the popular event venue “De Schorre” (also home to the famous Tomorrowland festival), the city of Boom has much to offer. The local government invited Supermoon to develop a communications plan to stimulate pride in the people of Boom for their home town, as well as to attract entrepreneurs and visitors.
Firstly, Supermoon developed a style guide and brand ID, permitting the city to communicate in a clear, consistent and attractive way. Secondly, we proposed a citymarketing plan with a variety of initiatives such as events and communication tools to enhance community spirit. Thirdly, Supermoon supported the city of Boom with the communications of the new local policy via co-creative meet-ups, the redesign of their information bulletin and the concept of a city map and luxury magazine.
“Beleef Boom” – A luxury city magazine
In line with the new visual identity of Boom we launched a new city magazine, titled “Beleef Boom”. The magazine is distributed via local stores, restaurants and public places such as the library. It features engaging stories of successful entrepreneurs, hotspots, city development plans and construction works, community initiatives and practical information. Supermoon is responsible for content creation, photography and graphic design for this magazine.
